At Edusafe, we provide specialist safeguarding and risk support designed specifically for education settings. We understand that effective safeguarding is not just about having policies in place, but about strong leadership oversight, clear systems, confident staff and consistent practice. Our support focuses on strengthening safeguarding arrangements in a practical, inspection-ready way that reflects the realities of busy schools and meets Ofsted expectations.

We carry out independent safeguarding reviews that explore how safeguarding works in day-to-day practice, including leadership oversight, recording and follow-up of concerns, safer recruitment, attendance and staff understanding of procedures. These reviews highlight strengths, identify gaps and provide clear next steps for improvement. We also support schools with safeguarding policies and risk assessments that are clear, compliant and tailored to their setting, covering areas such as behaviour, online safety, activities and individual pupil needs.

For schools preparing for Ofsted, we offer focused inspection readiness support, helping leaders strengthen systems, evidence impact and feel confident in safeguarding discussions.

Many schools choose ongoing safeguarding partnerships for regular oversight, advice and continued inspection readiness, keeping safeguarding strong throughout the year.

Edusafe works alongside education settings to build practical safeguarding systems that protect pupils, support staff and give leaders confidence.

We partner with nurseries and early years settings, bringing a deep understanding of the unique vulnerabilities of very young children.

During these formative years, children depend entirely on the adults around them to ensure their safety, recognise early signs of concern, and respond appropriately and effectively.

We understand the significant responsibility this places on early years professionals, as well as the emotional and practical complexities involved in safeguarding young children. Edusafe works alongside nursery teams to strengthen safeguarding practice, helping to create secure, nurturing environments where every child is protected, supported, and able to thrive.

Edusafe supports primary and secondary schools with a clear understanding of the vital role they play in safeguarding children and young people.

As pupils spend a significant proportion of their lives within education settings, schools carry a profound responsibility for their safety and wellbeing. Children and young people may experience a broad range of vulnerabilities including neglect, abuse, mental health challenges, online risks, peer on peer harm, and emotionally based school avoidance EBSA, and school staff are often the first to recognise when concerns arise.

We recognise the complex and evolving nature of these challenges, alongside the daily pressures schools face in balancing high quality education with robust safeguarding practice. Edusafe works in partnership with school communities to strengthen systems, build confidence, and create safe, supportive environments where every pupil feels safe, supported, and able to attend, engage, and thrive.

We also support a wide range of education settings beyond mainstream schools, recognising that vulnerability does not end at compulsory school age.

Young people and learners in further education, training, and specialist provision may continue to face risks relating to wellbeing, exploitation, online harm, and personal safety. As independence increases, so too can exposure to new and complex challenges.

We understand the careful balance these settings must maintain between promoting autonomy and ensuring robust safeguarding oversight. Working in partnership with providers, we help strengthen safeguarding practice and create safe, inclusive environments where learners feel protected, supported, and empowered to succeed.
